Cinemas around Chesterfield

Cineworld Cinema - Chesterfield

Alma Leisure Park, Derby Rd, Chesterfield S40 2ED, UK – 0871 200 2000

Nice enough. Fairly small cinema. Nice for that though. Usual selection of probably expensive drinks and snacks - I didn't partake. Comfortable seats. Free parking. Lots of restaurants around too, though this does mean the car park gets busy early evening. Paddington 2 - great film.

Decent enough cinema but could do with a little more leg room. Anything over 5'8" and you could be struggling. Plenty of parking so never had an issue in that respect. Couple of self service ticket machines which are handy when everyone else is buying snacks.

Pomegranate Theatre

Corporation St, Chesterfield S41 7TX, UK – 01246 345222

The ambiance of the theatre was excellent the staff very polite and obliging but the main thing was the "Pantomime " which was well constructed and funny, the cast did great job, my Wife Grandaughter and myself really enjoyed it Thankyou .

absolutely fab ,not bell laughed like this for ears , would recommend great bunch of actors and actresses they all wirked fantasticalky together and great with the crowd too 👍🏻

Theatres for Chesterfield

Winding Wheel

13 Holywell St, Chesterfield S41 7SA, UK – 01246 345222

A great venue overall. The staff are very friendly, I booked over the phone and customer service was great. I was told of the fact that there is no parking attached to the venue, but there are plenty of car parks within a few minutes walk away. The venue itself is not that big so even if your seat is near the back you will still have a good view. The sound could be better but I went to see a comedian so as long as I could hear him clearly it was fine. The chaurs are quite compact and very close together so it does mean you do not have anough personal space. Overall decent venue.

Seating awful. Sound atrocious. No easy parking at premises. Have to park up the road in pay and display. Not good for those with disabilities that don't use a chair. Only good thing was the staff are friendly and helpful. Won't go again.
