Chesterfield Parish Church

Church Way, Chesterfield S40 1XJ, UK – 01246 206506

An icon landmark associated with the town. It is well worth going inside where the church is rich in history and you will find friendly folks to talk to. If you can, book a trip up the spire, they only do trips at certain times of the year but it is very well worth doing

I've often past the town of Chesterfield and seen the twisted spire of the church but this was the first time I visited it! It has a very welcome feel to it and includes a gift shop! I was delighted that there was a group of school children being shown round on the day we visited! It is almost cathedral like inside as it is so big. I liked the huge Parish chest and the very old font which is Saxon. The guide is in an easy to read form, well suited for children. So now I know why the spire twisted but I'm not going to tell you because I want you to go in and find out for yourself! 😊

St Paul's Church, Hasland

Churchside, Hasland S41 0JX, UK – 01246 232486

Got marrried here on 30th July 2016, a beautiful church both inside and out.

A growing congregation of caring men, women, and young people. Being the parish priest I would say that!!

New Life Church

13 Holywell St, Chesterfield S41 7SA, UK – 01246 200768

I have been part of New Life Church for 32 years and that in itself is a commendation. You could not wish to meet a friendlier bunch of people with a real heart to serve God here in Chesterfield. Worship times are vibrant with the life of God and teaching is always bible - based with the capacity to transform lives for the better. If you haven't ever been to church or if you just haven't been for a while - why not pop along one Sunday morning and see for yourself.
